PEF in Action: Impact Scores, Brand Insights, and Next Steps (Part 3)
Register for the third and final webinar in a three-part series with Bergans of Norway, Camilla Pihl, Holzweiler, Sverre W. Monsen, Trimco Group, NF&TA, and Green Score Capital.
Since January 2025, this project has explored how the EU Product Environmental Footprint Category Rules (PEFCR) can be applied in real-world apparel and footwear production across a wide range of brands and product types.
In the first webinar, we outlined the ambition of the project and the challenges of applying PEFCR across many styles.
The second webinar focused on execution, highlighting the complexity of collecting and managing the detailed data required by the methodology.
This third webinar presents the final results.
Participants will be taken through the 16 EU PEFCR impact scores generated for a diverse set of products, ranging from workwear and fashion apparel to functional sportswear. The brands involved vary in size, age, and market focus, providing a realistic picture of how PEFCR performs across different business models. The session will also address how brands intend to apply the results in future PEFCR assessments.
As a bonus, the webinar includes the latest input from the EU Joint Research Centre (JRC) on how PEFCR is expected to relate to upcoming Digital Product Passport (DPP) requirements.
This initiative is part of a two-year project supported by NF&TA and Innovation Norway, aimed at developing a practical framework for reliable PEF calculations aligned with EU guidelines. Project details here.

/ Camilla Mjelde, Compliance & Sustainability Director, Trimco Group
